About Me.

Ironically, I grew up on frozen TV dinners and processed food. But I am thankful for those early experiences with “food” because it sparked my curiosity of how to define and obtain true nourishment.

As I grew in my understanding of what good food was, so did my passion of helping people transform their lives. It is my joy to give people the tools and education to take control over what they put in their bodies. In a world where misinformation runs rampant, it’s hard to know what is truly good for you. It might not be easy to navigate around all the billions poured into food marketing to find the best options but I am here to help. Welcome to Breaking Bread Nutrition.

My Story.

Over a decade of nutrition education and health-related experiences that equip me with a holistic understanding of food and practical strategies to incorporate into your daily life. By pairing the science of nutrition with the agricultural and quality aspects of food, I hope to spark in you a passion for great food.

My Philosophy.

I created Breaking Bread to help close the gap between a healthy lifestyle and dieting.

Food should be not only nutritive but also elicit joy. I believe food is more than just its nutrient components; it has a story of its own. By respecting where our food comes from and the journey it took to get to our plates, we can feel a part of the larger narrative that is life. When we approach food with positivity and gratitude, we can gain contentment by partaking in it and by sharing it. Ultimately, food strengthens our communities. I want Breaking Bread to remind the listener that food is inviting and encourages connection, unlike dieting, which isolates and separates.

Some of the best memories in life are made around the dinner table. I want to give people back the ability to create more of these moments to nourish not only their bodies but their hearts as well.
